Heretic! Repent, sir! Repent! Go back to your divided church and repent!

Is it now officially all right to heckle and slow hand-clap sermons, or is it just if the person giving it is gay? I'm a little out of date on my doctrine, I need guidance. If the former it could be a great boon for people bored and/or still hopped up on goofballs on a Sunday morning.

This is nothing new. Evangelicals used to do this to Anglo-Catholics in the 1800s (not necessarily gay ones, either).

I was just reading about the riots about the Book of Common Prayer. Nobody threw a stool this time I suppose.

Pathetic. And from a long-haired male - surely there must be some kind of religious law against that?

(Incidentally, the hymn they're singing along to is one of my favourites, Frosty the Snowman.)

What do they have to do with religious law? They didn't even condemn homosexuals, the lightweights!

It can't be because he's gay. If people heckled and slow handclapped ALL bishops, well .....

Reading about it in today's papers, there's the suggestion that the congregation was actually slow-handclapping the heckler.
