I miss the kitten.

Being a sensible grown-up about things is rubbish.

I remember when I finally got rid of the last of the kittens..and walked around with a paperthing tied to a string.
The mommy-cats were too tired to play, and it just felt a bit lonely not having something fluffy and insane jumping after me.

I feel for you.

I do.

Just say NO! to the fucking hamsters.
They may run certain equipment, and seem cute, but the upkeep is insane.
Plus the little bastards like to pee outside the cage, so there's always rank hamster pee on anything close to the cage.
And their bites ~hurt~

I'm so glad I saw this. My daughter's been begging for hamsters for ages. She's five years old and we have four cats in the house. I'd been kinda thinking about hamsters for a while myself, but I already have to deal with cat pee. To the extent I'm thinking about tearing up all the carpet on the main floor of our house. Yes, I clean the litter, but we think maybe someone had an animal here before we moved in that made a mess that didn't get cleaned up right... blecch. Hamster pee on top of that? No thank you.

They do tend to amuse each other. And wear one another out.

Kitten is currently trying to kill one of those tooth cleaning dental floss stick things. I'm wondering if she has an advanced interest in oral hygiene, or whether I'm gonna have to rescue it from her jaws soon. I think she does miss fridge, but she's a bouncy little thing and is currently perfectly happy, I'll make sure she's ok.
