Just out of interest.

This is what I think about my future

I am secure in the knowledge that I will have a decent amount of money when I am older, barring catastrophic world-failure.
I'm pretty secure - I've made provisions and I think they'll be okay, though I do worry occasionally.
I'm a bit doubtful. I've done some stuff but I really don't know if it will be enough.
I'm really doubtful. I don't think I'll have enough money to live on.
What is this thing that you Earth people call "retirement"? Stopping work? How is that going to happen? I'll starve!

Oh, by the way, I'm in the last category. I've paid into the state pension all my life but *pffft* yeah right that's going to happen. I've only had one company pension which is now useless to me, my last full time job didn't even have a pension scheme and I have no private one. Despite being in a theoretically well-paid profession, and actually not spending that much (I buy gadgets, yes, but I don't buy clothes and shoes, and I don't go on holiday or any of that) my income seems to have matched my outgoings pretty well over the years, with any excess being eaten up whenever I move continents or flats. It's catfood curry for me. Oh well.

So start saving now.

What is the sense in seeing the right course of action and doing nothing about it.
