Some good things from the internet

  • A house made for cats. Also, it is a good thing in general that there is a blog called Modern Cat.

  • A physics-enabled desktop program that allows you to stack and arrange things in piles of different messiness, as well as drag them around to knock over other files.

  • Dropbox (via assmonkeydiary) which is... well, I could go into the details but his description of it as "a magic folder that exists simultaneously on any computer where you install it" works well. It's slicker than a slick thing on OS X certainly. It even keeps versions, it syncs in seconds, you can share folders and make them public and you get two gigs of space for free. I'm now trying it out for my current projects so that if I forget to rsync things, it doesn't matter.

  • An NBA professional being hustled.

Oh wow! I want a house like that! *whiiiine* Cats love to be up high, and having a bunch of high shelves like that for them cuts down on the fighting, I would think. Totally ideal for a multi-cat household. I think even my former cat-lady neighbor would love these ideas. Hrm. I should email her the link.
