Gays 'have a duty to vote Tory'
Ms James, who is standing in Stourbridge, in the West Midlands, argued that the case for kicking out the current government had grown stronger for all voters in the past 12 months - but gay people had a particular reason to vote Tory.

"Gay people are net contributors to public services through their taxes, because very few of them have children.

"I think gay people have got more angst on this issue than anybody else because gay people are paying in, through their taxes and actually using far less of the NHS because they tend not to have families, less of the education system for the same reason and all the more reason to be angry with this government for the waste of their taxes."

She added: "There is so much wrong with this government's policy, gay people should not just vote Conservative, they have a duty to vote Conservative."
Regardless of the basic bollocks nature of this suggestion, surely, when you think about it, if you use the NHS less and don't have kids, you should be less concerned about wastage? After all, you pay the money but it makes less difference to you and yours personally whether it's wasted or not - either way it's all wasted as far as you're concerned. Assuming you're the sort of selfish toilet being talked about here of course.

You might say gay people have made the fat cats fatter - after all, because they don't have children and are super-healthy and don't use the NHS, they spent all that money on faux suede throws (middle class), suede throws (upper class), cashmere throws (rich) and throws made out of the fur of many endangered species (super rich) thus contributing to the throw-away society which went on an endless spending spree of greed. The mega rich, gay or not, just screwed us all.

What is this fantasy world in which gay people have no children, illnesses, ailing parents or educational aspirations of their own?

Birmingham, apparently, for a limited period... oh dear, I think the conference is over now. Damn, there goes the chance to be free of cares forever.
