A poll about notebooks

Why not eh? Sorry, a bit late for UK Friday afternoon office timewasting.

EDIT: options 1 & 2 of "how permanent do you consider the contents of your notebooks to be" could also apply if you transcribe or scan your notes into some other form - I'm thinking not just about the content in abstract, but also the physical representation in the notebook itself. Or perhaps you only care about the content in itself but can never be bothered / write too much to transcribe them.

1(11.1%)
am prepared to leave a few gaps and spaces between lines

I just use cheap stuff / whatever I can nick from the office, to be honest
1(11.1%)
I like good ones but I'm not all that obsessed

1(11.1%)

Do you carry a pocket notebook on a regular basis?

No
3(33.3%)
Yes, but I rarely use it
1(11.1%)
Yes, and I write in it a lot
5(55.6%)

How permanent do you consider the contents of your notebooks to be, in general?

Hardly at all - the sort of stuff I write in them is only meaningful in the short term (e.g. meeting notes, shopping lists)
1(11.1%)
I'd like to keep the information for a while but after a certain point I don't need it any more and could just throw it away (e.g. end of a project, house is sold)
3(33.3%)
I want and/or need to keep it indefinitely (e.g. journal, items which a regulator might need to see - or maybe just personal preference, or nice notebooks)
5(55.6%)

How many filled notebooks do you possess?

None at all - either I don't keep them or I don't fill them
3(33.3%)
One
1(11.1%)
A few
5(55.6%)
I measure them by the shelf-full
0(0.0%)

Afraid I can't really answer the "important question", cause I don't use that sort of notebook...

Oh, great - another type of notebook I'm going to have to get now. At least they're reduced to £2 apparently.

I love these, I usually pick up a few when I treat myself to stationary from Muji :).
