location: beetroot beetroot beetroot

I am going to make something to eat that has so much garlic in it, it will kill lower life-forms by radiation alone. I'm not quite sure what, but I'll think of something. I have a load of potatoes to use up so I may make some sort of garlic and potato sort of curry thing.

Incidentally, I've noticed that Livejournal's habit of automatically linking to a Google Map of one's "location" field can produce some odd results, so I will be filling that in regularly from now on.

Garlic soup - many recipes on web

Or get a glass Kilner storage jar - the ones with the elastic band round the lid and a metal clip - peel a whole head of garlic and put peeled cloves in jar, stuff in as many whole herbs as you can find, cover with virgin olive oil, leave for 6 weeks, squeeze oil out of herbs and garlic and dispose of debris, use resultant herb olive oil with bread (as a snack or as a substitute for butter), add balsamic vinegar if liked.
