Marinated garlic

See, I like garlic, I can eat a lot of garlic, but this really is a lot of garlic.

They're pretty chunky. I think they're on the upper end of normal garlic size.

I'm seeing what a handful of them are like in a casserole at the moment.

hmmmmm. I love garlic too, even in stupidly huge amounts, but I generally prefer it to be in something. And minced.

Vinegar, mostly, it seems; they're quite pickled. The red stuff has something else in it but it's not readily identifiable.

you should take about half that amt of garlic and mince them fine (in a food processor or electric slicer if you can). If you do it in a food processor, as it gets find blend in about 1/2 to a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. If no processor, just stir it in. This make a kind of garlic spread you can use to make garlic bread/toast, put on sandwiches, in sauces, etc. It'll last in your fridge for about 2-4 weeks.

That's about a week's garlic for the two of us here. However, I have to say that yours looks more like some sort of fish bait.
